- Free tours of Useldange Castle for children and adults
Time slot bookable on site
- Workshops and information stands run by tourism partners and associations from the "Wëlle Westen"
- Free activities and games for children: Face-painting, dwarf trail with Potty Lotty, alpacas, skipping rope craft, old-fashioned fairground games, knight's sword colouring, quiz, XXXL Mill games, "Treasure of Useldange" quiz, slate workshop, bouncy castle, upcycling workshop, etc.
- Food and refreshments: grill stand, cakes, waffles, pancakes, cocktails, etc.
- Musical entertainment:
- From 11.00am: Musical performances by the Redange Canton Music School
- From 2.00 pm: Concert by Lou TENNANT & Band
- From 4.00 pm: Troubadours d'Aliénor
- From 6.00 pm: Concert by Powerblech

So far, the event ''Weekend vum Wëlle Westen'' has taken place twice:
2nd & 3rd of July 2022 in Haut-Martelange, Useldange, Beckerich and Rindschleiden
8th & 9th of July 2023 in Haut-Martelange
Review of our ''Weekend vum Wëlle Westen 2023''.
The 2nd edition was a complete success and attracted not only tourists from Luxembourg and abroad but also national politicians to the Slate Museum site.
This year, the event took place at one tourist location only and not at 4.
Thus, every year it is the turn of a different location to invite the guests of the ''Weekend vum Wëlle Westen''.
The 1st edition of the ''Weekend vum Wëlle Westen'' took place on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2022.
In 2022, the event took place simultaneously at 4 tourist locations: Castle of Useldingen, Thillenvogtei in Rindschleiden, the Mill in Beckerich and the Slate Museum in Haut-Martelange.
A free shuttle bus was available to take participants from one location to another.
