Auto-Pédestre hiking route Arsdorf

The Auto-Pédestre Arsdorf runs north of the village, on both sides of the N27.

The Auto-Pédestre Arsdorf starts along the Burbich to the Ueschtrëfermillen, the Arsdorf mill. Here, the outbound and return paths split.

On one hand, it continues along the Ueschtrëferbaach and the Ningserbaach up to the Hënneschtebierg. Shortly before the intersection with the N27, you pass the Burfëlskraiz, which recalls the legend of the fratricide at Bondorf Castle. Wolfram and Ulrich were half-brothers. Ulrich, the younger, was to become the future lord of Bondorf, which is why Wolfram killed him. Wolfram was exposed and fled. After many years, he returned to the region and lived as a hermit in the Wolframsbusch. There, he built a heavy wooden cross, which he carried every Friday to the ruins of Friedburg, where he had killed his brother.

The path then leads to the other side of the N27, above the reservoir and to incredible viewpoints.

Afterward, it crosses the N27 again to lead back to the Arsdorf mill and the starting point.
